Description of Relief Sought:Arctic Air Alaska, Inc. requests relief from SS 135.203(a)(1) so they may operate flights for the Department of the Interior at less than 500 feet above the surface or less than 500 feet horizontally from any obstacle. This would allow Arctic Air Alaska, Inc. to comply with SS 91.119, Minimum Safe Altitudes, instead and operate at less than 500 above the surface.
