The 10-member RAC advises the Secretary of Interior, through the Bureau of Land Management, on a variety of planning and management issues associated with public land management in New Mexico.
Planned agenda items include BLM Application for Permit to Drill (APD) process, State Land Office APD process, Resource Management Plan update, Draft Secretary's Potash Order, Hunting unitization, and Public Land Access.
A half-hour public comment period during which the public may address the Council is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on November 13. All RAC meetings are open to the public. Depending on the number of individuals wishing to comment and time available, the time for individual oral comments may be limited.
