The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering extending the latest construction completion date specified in Construction Permit No. CPPR92 issued to Tennessee Valley Authority (permittee, TVA) for the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN), Unit 2. The facility is located at the permittee's site on the west branch of the Tennessee River

The ACRS Subcommittee on Power Uprates will hold a meeting on July 8, 2008, at 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland, Room T2B3.

The meeting will be open to public attendance, with the exception of portions that may be closed to discuss proprietary information pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(4) for presentations covering information that
