Abstract: The 2008 National Postsecondary Student Aid Study is being conducted to meet the continuing need for nationallevel data about significant financial aid issues for students enrolling in postsecondary education. Information about financial aid policies and postsecondary affordability is critical to policymakers who determine the need analysis formulas for Pell Grants, maximum amounts for student loans and other needbased Federal programs.
