  <title><![CDATA[  Criminal Justice Information Services Division; National Instant  Criminal Background Check System Section; Agency]]></title>

</p><p>    The Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI, Criminal Justice Information 
Services (CJIS) Division's National Instant Criminal Background Check 
System (NICS) Section will be submitting the following information 
collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for 
review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 
1995. The proposed information collection is published to obtain 
comments from the public and affected agencies. This proposed 
information collection was previously published in the Federal Register 
Volume 73, Number 83, Pages 23273 on April 29, 2008, allowing for a 60
day comment period. The purpose of this notice is to allow for an 
additional 30 days for public comment until August 7, 2008. This 
process is conducted in accordance with Title 5, Code of Federal  Regulations (CFR), Section 1320.10.</p><p>    Written comments and/or suggestions regarding the items contained 
in this notice, especially the estimated public burden and associated

  <title><![CDATA[  Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection;  Comments Requested]]></title>

</p><p>    The Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, will be 
submitting the following information collection request to the Office 
of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance in accordance 
with emergency review procedures of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 
1995. The proposed information collection is published to obtain 
comments from the public and affected agencies. If granted, the 
emergency approval is only valid for 180 days. Comments should be 
directed to OMB, Office of Information and Regulation Affairs, 
Attention: Department of Justice Desk Officer, Washington, DC 20503. 
Comments are encouraged and will be accepted for 60 days until  September 8, 2008.</p><p>    During the first 60 days of this same review period, a regular 
review of this information collection is also being undertaken. All 
comments and suggestions, or questions regarding additional 
information, to include obtaining a copy of the proposed information 
collection instrument with instructions, should be directed to<script type="text/javascript">

  <title><![CDATA[  Record of Vote of Meeting Closure (Pub. L. 94-409) (5 U.S.C.  552b)]]></title>

</p><p>    I, Edward F. Reilly, Jr., Chairman of the United States Parole 
Commission, was present at a meeting of said Commission, which started 
at approximately 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the U.S. 
Parole Commission, 5550 Friendship Boulevard, 4th Floor, Chevy Chase, 
Maryland 20815. The purpose of the meeting was to decide four petitions 
for reconsideration pursuant to 28 CFR 2.27. Four Commissioners were 
present, constituting a quorum when the vote to close the meeting was  submitted.</p><p>    Public announcement further describing the subject matter of the 
meeting and certifications of General Counsel that this meeting may be 
closed by vote of the Commissioners present were submitted to the 
Commissioners prior to the conduct of any other business. Upon motion 
duly made, seconded, and carried, the following Commissioners voted 
that the meeting be closed: Edward F. Reilly, Jr., Cranston J.  Mitchell, Isaac Fulwood, Jr., and Patricia Cushwa.</p><p>    In witness whereof, I make this official record of <script type="text/javascript">
