Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection;  Comment Request]]></title>

  <description><![CDATA[ The NRC is preparing a submittal to OMB for review of 
continued approval of information collections under the provisions of 
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).
</p><p>    Information pertaining to the requirement to be submitted:
</p><p>    1. The title of the information collection: Registration 
Certificate InVitro. Testing with Byproduct Material under General  License.<br/> </p><p>    2. Current OMB approval number: 31500038.</p><p>    3. How often the collection is required: There is a onetime 
submittal of information to receive a validated copy of NRC Form 483 
with an assigned registration number. In addition, any changes in the 
information reported on NRC Form 483 must be reported in writing to the 
Commission within 30 days after the effective date of such change.
</p><p>    4. Who is required or asked to report: Any physician, veterinarian 
in the practice of veterinary medicine, clinical laboratory or hospital 
which desires a general license to receive, acquire, possess, transfer,

  <title><![CDATA[
South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) and the South  Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper);]]></title>

</p><p>    On March 27, 2008, South Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) 
acting as itself and agent for the South Carolina Public Service 
Authority also known as Santee Cooper filed with the U.S. Nuclear 
Regulatory Commission (NRC, the Commission) pursuant to Section 103 of 
the Atomic Energy Act and Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations 
(10 CFR) part 52, ``Licenses, Certifications, and Approvals for Nuclear 
Power Plants,'' an application for a combined license (COL) for two 
AP1000 nuclear power plants at the existing Virgil C. Summer Nuclear 
Site (VCSNS) located in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The reactors  are to be identified as VCSNS Units 2 and 3.</p><p>    An applicant may seek a COL in accordance with Subpart C of 10 CFR 
part 52. The information submitted by the applicant includes certain 
administrative information such as financial qualifications submitted 
pursuant to 10 CFR 52.77, as well as technical information submitted
